I made the texture for the piece that serves as the upstairs floor and the ceiling of the kitchen. So hooray for TINY SQUARE BLIPS OF CARPET AND TILE and then one giant freaking moldy ceiling. Hoorah. I've been working on getting all the window frames on the same UV map, but that's a nightmare. The toilet's next.

Photo DUMP
I made cabinets for the top of the kitchen, because I wasn't a fan of all that empty space. There's also now a stove/oven thing, and I might be adding in a vent hood thing if I feel like it.
These are the three camera angles that I chose.
Added in the kitchen wall texture and there are window frames on the right side of the image now.
BRIGHT LIGHT. I threw in the physical sun and sky just to see how things would react. And apparently the roof I had on it didn't actually register, so everything got way too bright way too fast.
I really like this lighting just from the physical sun and sky, but I think I would like it better with volumetric lighting, so that I could get dust floating in the light that streams into the boarded up windows. Will that happen? I really don't know.
I added in a light that I can't remember the name of in front of the television, even though there's no way anything in a house that had been abandoned for several decades would have anything that's still working. But still. It's one of those things that doesn't really register to people.
I also found another camera angle that I like. Let's hope that I can recreate the angle again.
